GARDEN Village and Ammanford go head-to-head for the second time in a little over a week on Wednesday night and the Carmarthenshire side will be looking to avenge last Tuesday night's 2-0 reverse at our Stafford Common ground.The Rice Road outfit also had nine players booked and two sent off - one a substitute - in a game which the result flattered them a bit; Ben Brown and Steven Evans were Village goalscorers that evening.Village are happy to welcome back star striker Ben Brown and promising midfielder Marc Lloyd back to the side after they were unavailable for the weekend victory over Porthcawl Town. New goalkeeper Mark Snell is also set to keep his place in between the sticks ahead of Matthew Martin.The home side did bounce back from their opening league match at Village with an impressive 2-0 victory over ENTO Aberaman Athletic at Rice Road on Saturday. Both their goals came in the first-half with Nicky Dawson striking first on 14 minutes before Cerison Davies doubled their lead deep into stoppage time.When both sides last met at Rice Road last August in ended in convincing fashion for the visiting side. Nicky Romanello and Jamie Evans shot Village into a 2-0 lead at the break before Romanello added a third early in the second-half. Ammanford did have a consolation in the back of the net 10 minutes from time through an own-goal from Village goalscorer Jamie Evans.
