Ammanford AFC - Rec - Welsh League

The Welsh League pitch is the newest in the Ammanford AFC setup, having been built after Ammanford RFC moved its pitch to play vertically rather than horizontally in front of the clubhouse as before. The football field runs in parallell to the rugby pitch and is surrounded by fencing.

The first ever game  on the ground was in 2006. It was an U17's game v Lonlas which the Ammanford won 2-1 having won the League and Cup Double the previous season.

For the 2006/07 season all Welsh League games were moved to here to follow ground requirements.

Railings, fencing, dugouts and a stand were introduced in 2007 whilst concrete was added around the ground in 2010 before being added behind the nearest goal (Changing room side) in 2011. Railings were addedd behind the nearest goal in 2012.
